Alambique Serrano Cartier 30 is a uniquely potent, unaged rum distilled from organic java sugarcane grown at 4,000 feet above sea level in Oaxaca, Mexico, using a custom-built still that produces no heads or tails. Interestingly, this rum’s name refers to an obsolete alcohol measurement scale, with “Cartier 30” translating to a robust 70% ABV – the preferred strength for locals who historically mixed it with fresh cane juice for a powerful shot.
