A cult classic at this point, Vago’s Elote Mezcal, made by the sons of Aquilino Garcia (who first began this tradition), is a very unique distillation. Between normal second and extra third distillation, the batch is infused with roasted corn. Shows a nose full of smoky toasted corn and dry river stones. Body sweet with wood tones and layers of honeycomb, green tropical fruit, and smoke.
