Very Olde St. Nick Summer Rye Cask Strength is a cult-favorite old rye drawn from the brand’s oldest stocks — once bottled by Julian Van Winkle, then the Willett family, and now housed at Preservation Distillery in Bardstown.
Preservation Distillery is committed to old-style production — sourcing grain from local farms, milling on-site, and always sour mashing. While this old rye predates the distillery, it is widely considered among the best rye coming out of Kentucky, and is offered stateside for the first time.
